The Pastors Masters

70% of pastors in the United States have no one they can call a friend.  80% of pastors feel that ministry affects their family in a negative way, and 70% of pastors have a lower self-image now than when they started in the ministry. Perhaps this is because 90% feel they are inadequately trained to cope with the demands of the job.

The result is 40% of current pastors will be in a different line of work in 10 years. 30% of all ministers have been terminated at least once, and 1,300 pastors in the United States are forced to resign every month. In fact, half of all pastors have considered leaving their ministry in the last three months alone.

For years, re:member group has organized and participated in the annual Pastors Masters in the Twin Cities. It’s a great day to get out and enjoy the day with pastors and get to know them, and further understand the needs of our pastors.  In addition, over $25,000 has been raised toward pastoral care.
